How to go tubeless on 2018 DT SWISS M 1900 SPLINE 30 wheels?

I have a '29 Jeffsy AL on order. Instead of carrying a spare tube in my pack, I want to try tubeless. What do I need? 30 or 32mm rim tape? DT swiss site says 32mm tape is included with the wheels if you buy them aftermarket. They're 30mm wide.

What kind of stem do I get?

Anything else required? I'm filling up my shopping cart....

Well I just looked and found this thread: forums.mtbr.com/yt/jeffsy-m1900-wheels-taped-1066673.html

Looks like I need a roll of gorilla tape and some E13 27-37mm tubeless stems. Do I need sealant?

    Google is your friend...

But seriously, of course you need sealant. Orange seal is my favorite. And you should still carry a spare tube.

yup. Got a tube, orange sealant, 1" gorilla tape, and stans stems on order. I've been out of the scene for 10 years, lots of changes!

Where did all the bar ends go? lol.

My Jeffsy had rim tape already, just needed sealant and a valve.

Gorilla tape, sealant, valve stems. Easy money.

Also, the tape on the rims from the factory is rim tape, not ghetto tubeless tape. If you're running tubeless on just the DTS tape then you're lucky it's holding.

The models with ethirteen wheels are taped. The DT Swiss M1900 rims are not. The YT tape on the rim is not tubeless tape.

Scotch Transparent Tough Duct Tape also works well.
I prefer it over gorilla tape.

I've never seen that product, is it available like Gorilla Tape is? Home Depot, Lowe's, etc.?

How does it hold up? I've got a Krampus that I ghetto converted almost 2 years ago (with Gorilla Tape) that's never given me an issue.

I was able to find Scotch Transparent Tough Duct Tape at Walmart, but imagine other Department stores/Amazon.

Read through the link I posted earlier...I believe it's a better option then Gorilla.

It's lighter, so your tubeless conversion will weigh less.
It has a slicker finish, so less likely to absorb sealant over time.
Not as stiff, so it's easier to work with (more flexible).
A knife is all you need to create your desired tape width.
Very Strong tape adhesive...comparable to Gorilla.
    Lastly, it's more affordable
