Going from 150mm to 125mm dropper. Stick with e*thirteen or go with Fox transfer?

I don't "descend" here in Florida, but I like to have the saddle topped at the exact height for perfect spinning when clocking miles, then drop it an inch or 2 for the trails.

The 150mm e*thirteen on my medium frame is about 1/2"-3/4" too tall for my 30" inseam.

Should I try the fox? Shocks and forks are fox....

I have the fox. Their website has exact measurements for each size dropper so you can see where the dropper will sit in your seat tube. You basically set your current saddle height and measure to the rails from the collar. Go stick this number in their guide to see which dropper gives you the largest drop while still being able to take it to full extension. Mine is sitting about 2mm out of the seat tube. Full extension is the perfect height. I couldn't be happier with the way it works and fits.

Get the wolftooth remote. The fox one is garbage.

I just measured, the 125mm is perfect for me. Which wolf tooth remote would I want?

It depends on if you want or can mount to the brake lever with matchmaker or whatever Shimano calls it. I just have the regular bar mount.

I really like the ethirteen dropper, so it would be hard for me to choose something else over it. That being said, if something happened to this one or I needed something with less drop I would probably go with a KS eTen as it comes in 125mm now. It's dirt cheap and the KS Crux I previously owned is still one of my favorite droppers.

E13 sucks. Itís heavy, loud, and only has three positions. Itís no where as good as the fox.
