    Stupid, stupid, stupid sag question...

My xc bike had a more linear shock stroke to wheel travel ratio. Meaning it is nearly a 4 inch travel bike with around 3.5 inches of shock stroke (i think, never measured).
My new 575 has no where near the shock stroke as the 5.75 inches of rear travel.
Question is: Do I set 15 to 20% sag based on actual rear wheel travel (very hard to determine sitting on my bike) or 20% of the allowable shock stroke?

    Thanks....its something new everyday

it doesn't matter, 20% of your stroke will be at the same point of 20% of your travel. so your thoughts are exactly right, go by the stroke.
