    Wedding Presents that last

SO I am recently married as of Aug 6th and my wife and I went to Colorado for 1 week and San Fran for the second week of our honeymoon. The next weekend we took first place in 2 person mixed catagory at the 24 hours of Allamuchy. Since we are bike fanatics we decided to get custom Ti Independent Fabrication hardtails through Phil Wood...named PissOff's which was a run of 30 limited personalized bikes. We Just had the wedding date laser etched and a little character on the side. They are the sweetest single speeds ever and I went with a 29er version. I just wanted to post how great it is having a wife and great friend to ride with and have adventures for the rest of my life. I am the luckiest guy I know. I wanted to post pics but the files are too large...I will get them up

Very cool wedding gifts - congratulations. August 6, eh? My wife and I were married 12 years ago on August 6 in Crested Butte - our present to each other was an Ibis off-road tandem and titanium wedding bands made by a frame maker friend of mine.

Sheesh. Makes the 5 pound box of laundry detergent I usually get people as a wedding gift seem kind of cheap.
When the going gets weird its bedtime.

After 16 years of marriage my husband and I still enjoy riding with each other, though I'll never be as fast or as daring as him. That's just not my style. Our first bikes were Costco specials, but they got us out there riding. Since then he's bought me a Specialized Rockhopper and an Intense Spyder, so I definately think bikes are great "I love you" gifts. I hope you both keep spending many years sharing the trails together. Congratulations again!!
