Not your typical shoulder separation question

So I managed to get myself a nice grade 3 separation of the ac joint (along with fractures on my clavicle and scapula where everything blew apart) at High Cascades 100 this year. I wish I had a great story about a gnarly crash, but I don't even know how it happened. OTB at 30km/h on the easiest section of trail. Major facepalm.

Of course, my bra strap sits right over my new shoulder bump accessory and irritates it. Have any of you ladies experienced this fun injury and have bra strap solutions...does the bump pain go away? Of course, I can continue with the strap slung off my shoulder look, but it's not comfortable either.

And of course, any stories of returning to riding after shoulder separations and/or fractures are welcome. I likely won't be able to ride outside until October aka winter in Canada (10 minutes on the trainer yesterday!), and the sedentary life is making me nuts.

Have you tried some bras (or sports bras) with a racerback style? I know mine help get the straps off my shoulders/collarbones as the straps go up closer to my neck.

Doing up the back clasp would be difficult. Maybe try a bra with front closure or a yoga bra (although you still have to wiggle into it) Lululemon has a wide variety of styles , but there are less expensive brands with racer backs

I had a big crash a couple years ago and resulting in alot of fractures (including scapula, spine and ribs). I had limited ROM and I wore what I could slip on.

Great suggestions, thanks! I tried out a racerback style, and it definitely works for being away from the shoulder bump. Getting out of it is a bit of a challenge with limited ROM, but that will get better with time.
