I'm in Arkansas and although we haven't had a lot of snow (which is actually really fun to ride in), I am sick of the cold. I rather be sweating my ass off, then layered up to the point of looking like Ralphie's brother from "A Christmas Story".
Spring has sprung here with budding flowers and the grass is turning green, we had a full week of 70s weather (which I rode on every day possible) but alas, it wasn't to last. Back down to the 30s and I'm sincerely dissapointed. Come on Summer!
Man comes home to his wife with rope and says "tie me up and do whatever you want." So she ties him up and goes MTB'ing.

The warmer it gets, the more of a temperature weenie I become. Had an awesome ride Wed (72 degrees) first time without tights OR long sleeves

Yesterday it was 37 degrees, overcast, and humid. Had multiple layers on and still chilled to the bone - never did warm up and cut my ride short. Today it isn't really any warmer though there is more sun... I am SO ready for warmer weather! Come on heat, I won't complain!

Got rained on yesterday and sprinkled on today while riding. My firend rode yesterday in low 40's temps. Isn't it supposed to be Spring in Southern California?

Oh, then we went sailing this afternoon so I guess Spring is trying hard to push Winter away.

    Agreed!
Best of all is when you can get both...
11 inches of new snow reported in Summit County in Colorado, and I can't go skiing today (on my day off) because I have to return a bike I demoed over the weekend in Pueblo.
Hoping for a few more big powder days before bike season really kicks in.
Ski season recharges me for bike season, bike season recharges me for ski season...
    It's all good.
I drank the 29er koolaid- turns out it was POWERade :)

Gorgeous pic of Fruita! It makes me want to go.

On the other hand, I just had 3 of the best cross-country skiing days of the year last weekend.
