    Matching bikes too much(aesthetics wise)?

Is it too much(not price but aesthetics wise) to have the same bike in the same color as my wife? Mid rid a few weeks ago on the street my tire got a flat cause of some sharp objects. I locked it and a walked down to the target 3 blocks away, a real fortunate for me to get a temp inner tube, which I did. I come back only to see my handle bar, stem, and thru axle bolts, and seat+post was stolen(they use a bike tool). I was pretty much left with a frame and tires. I liked my hybrid mtb, but wanted to get a new bike. My wife has a bike packing mtb the Krampus in red, which I love. So, should I go red Krampus or go a bit different and go purple so we don't look like that couple? Another option is going a different bike totally, like the Salsa Deadwood or Mariachi. Thanks

get matching bikes if it's the one you like. i'm sure your wife would appreciate it and nobody else will care.

We've been known to be in matching outfits, like flannel shirts and skirts of the same color. Our neighbor called it weird how coordinated we are in our outfits.

My husband and I have the exact same fat bikes (except for the size). I say go for it. If you really don't like being perfectly matched, get some decals in a different colour for one of the bikes.

Whatever makes you happy. I know a few couples with matching bikes.

I love the idea of matching bikes:
“Did you see a guy riding? His bike looked exactly like this one..”

First question is what does your wife think about the idea? Mine most of the time doesn't like to match or I have to implore her to do so. It doesn't help that she doesn't like skirts all that much but I do.
    Will swerve for leaves.

we both like wearing skirts and pants as we are pretty fluid with our looks(tomboy femme if you will). She's okay with, but also wants a different bike to mess around with, since she also likes sharing outfits.
