Any good coaches or camps in NorCal for a beginner woman

My wife is new to MTB and I think she would really benefit from outside advice. Anyone have any good recommendations?

If location is very important to you you may wish to name an area a bit more specific.

    Norcal covers several hundred miles.
Even if you mean the bay area, that could still be a large radius.

I have a lot of friends who coach for Ninja MTB performance. They've got skills events in Santa Cruz and Mt Shasta. They've also got a 30% off code right now: FLASH

Trek Dirt series also has some California events. Trek Dirt Series Mountain Bike Camps

    Hope that helps.

Hi DustyBetty - Do you know if any of your friends are open to coaching 1:1, say at Lake Cunningham Bike Park in San Jose (or Santa Cruz, SouthBay, Peninsula)? I'm solid intermediate hardtail rider (male) who's trying to learn ins/outs of bike park riding, which is new to me.
Aiming for being proficient at drops, table tops, and small gaps.

If so, could you post here or PM me, or lmk how we can connect? Thank you!

Sounds like some fun riding goals!

Hmmm... My friends who coach are based in Oregon, AZ and Washington but since Ninja and Dirt Series have events in Santa Cruz, if I were you, I'd reach out to them and ask them if they have any local south bay coaches or maybe when they have coaches in the area you could see if they'd do some private coaching?

For the kind of riding you're interested in, Simon Lawton from Fuid Ride would be a great coach to work with but he's based in issiquah, WA. He works with beginner riders all the way up to consult coaching for guys who do redbull rampage. Even though he's not in your neck of the woods, I wonder if he knows a coach near you who would be a good fit based on your riding coals? It might be worth seeing if you can reach him through his website or social media.

And maybe don't rule out working with a coach in a group setting...yet. A lot of coaches will tell you that riders are more relaxed and progress quicker in a group setting--this is definitely true for me. 1:1 has benefits too but just something to consider. Good luck, man!
