I've got (2) sets of silver RaceFace square-taper cranks - both silver.
one set is standard-drive and actually the forged DH version of the XC Turbine LP -
    the other set is compact-drive.
if you're interested - I can probably include a bottom bracket too (UN-72).
    just drop me an e-mail.

    thanks.

Just in case you didn't know, RF is no longer making the Turbines in square drive, which sucks if you need to send them in for warranty. I was offered a replacement set of Isis Turbines for more $$$, but I said no as I haven't had good luck with Isis BBs. In the end they shipped me a good used crank to replace my stretched crank.

Did the spindle hole stretch? I've been using Shimano's splined bottom brackets since they went to that for XTR, so I've never had to deal with a spindle hole stretching (if that is the problem here). I too am after a set of square taper Turbines now though (for a cross bike), and this sure makes it a pain trying to guauge if a set on Ebay is in good condition or not. Could you possibly even tell by looking at a picture?

Yes. I had a squeek that I thought was due to the crank. I sent it back through my LBS, and RF checked the square hole and found that it was worn. In the mean time I borrowed a crank off one of my other bikes and the squeek was still there. (Partially suspension pivot and something else I haven't found yet.)

When RF offered to replace my square cranks with a set of Isis turbines for some $$$ I said no thanks as I didn't want to buy a Isis BB and get into the short life Isis BB bearing issue again. I told them to just ship the old crank back to me. They ended up replacing it with a used older aftermarket crank that passed the square hole fit test. Mine was an older OEM Turbine. (There are at least 3 different versions of square drive turbines.)

I don't think you could tell from a photo. If the wear is bad, you can see a ridge inside the square hole.

    Race Face Carbon???

I bought a set of blue race face carbon square taper cranks when a store was going out of business. My intension was to put them on my new ride, but I bought a frame with a ISIS crankset already on. So I no longer need these cranks. Let me know if your intested and I can email you pictures.
