... and if we just ... Specialized Epic deal

Do you guys think this is a good deal?

2007 Specialized Matte Black Epic Rim, upgraded brakes to Avid Juicy 7 Hydraulic for $1700. (Fork boss plugs will be needed)

    I appreciate any feedback, thanks!

New? Used? Seems okay. Specialized website says $2200 for the base epic.

    Cool

It's slightly used...but I was a little bummed when I went to a Bike shop and they had a new epic disc for $1895. Oh well. Thanks!

If you are spending that much $200 more for new over slightly used is pretty worth it. Just my 2 cents.

    not a good deal

The bike has a lifetime warranty which is only for the original owner. If you buy the bike used you have no warranty. At least for me where every couple of years either the rear triangle or the frame breaks the warranty is worth way more then 200 bucks. Plus when you buy a new bike it generally comes with a couple of tune ups which is also worth something.
