I was searching for the best deal on a freeride hardtail and found a Jamis Komodo 2 for $560 shipped from UK to US.

Sounds too good to be true? I don't have proof but it probably is.

The company name is Bike Service Limited. I found a post on www.bluetack.co.uk as well as a post by the company on forums.wvmtba.com claiming they were a legit company.

Just wanted to give everyone a heads up to be careful buying online. I have avoided a scam in the past were I was asked to pay via Western Union. My guess is that is what will happen at this site as well.

Anyone else with more input?

Big red flag here is that both Cannondale and Trek DO NOT allow their bikes shipped. You have to go pick it up. You can order it on line, just no shipping.

I would call the credit card company and tell them what happened , seems like they should cancel the card and send you a new one.

Well, you did it right. Your CC company will cover any fraudulent charges. They could just charge you, then never ship. However, I'm thinking since they want Western Union, they don't have the proper Visa/MC set up.

I put a trek bike in the cart just for fun to see if it said they couldnt ship Trek bikes. It didn't. That was the prices in the shipping drop down. I thought it was funny because next day on a complete bike is usually double what it says there.
