    New question here. Hardtail frame

I've taken enough parts off my bike that I can now build another bike.
So I'm looking for a cheap frame, to build another bike as a loaner.

I'm looking for a preferrably steel frame, and disc compatible.
    Any ideas?

Bikeroom is Canadian so remember that the US dollar is worth more.

Not a lot of steel out there, but some good alloy deals.

I think Nashbar sells some house brand steel frames. Supergo's Access frames are pretty nice too, so definitely give them a look.

    Hey Schecky,
I just bought a Titus Racer X and have a KHS Steel Hardtail Frame (True Temper OXII) with a Disc Mount that I am going to sell. It is an 02 that has been ridden for about 12 months (built it new Jan 03). Size is 17 inches. I'll sell it for 225, with a Thompson Seatpost, or 275 with Seatpost and King Headset. Let me know if you are interested. Just trying to help you out. Thanks.

XC_Miles - I like KHS steel frames and thanks for the offer, but they are selling for cheaper than that new.

dave - I'm looking for a large and hoping to stay under $100 - I know you get what you pay for, but this'll be a loaner, it doesn't have to be perfect.

Thanks to all for the replies.

Check out bikefarmer. They had some NOS Quintana Roo Panamints. I bought one, it's a real nice Aluminum frame, Easton Elite, good welds and made in the USofA! $100-

I just saw your/my frame at universalcycles. They call it the Phobia Anxiety-True Temper OX Ultra II butted tubes, $100. Not much other info but I'm gonna try to contact them about the details. Anybody else know about these frames from universal? Seems like they used to have some called "Wild West" or something.
