    Got a good Blur deal

Just ordered a Trans Red Blur from Colorado Cyclist - $1499 including a *free* 2004 Manitou Skareb Platinum SPV 100mm fork. I'm going to be putting my existing Float fork on the Blur, and the Skarebs get about $350 on eBay, so the net price for the Blur will be about $1150. Sweet.

The Blur is a fantastic ride! The Skareb with SPV might be a good fit on the Blur; however, the Float would be plusher and not as prone to flex.

    Enjoy that bike,

Hmm, I guess they changed the promotion mid-day. This morning it was $1499 (powdercoat) / $1599 (anodized) and the free Skareb Platinum, but I see now they've lowered the price on some colors as a "weekend special". Maybe the fork deal will be back next week.

Yep, plus then you can say "never installed" rather than installed but never ridden which can sound kind of weak.....Excellent buy though.

That's the plan. Unless they install a free headset on their own, the fork'll be uncut in it's own box.
