Found a good deal on alt-bars.

Answer 20/20 carbon alternative bars are $60 shipped from Bikewaggon .
Not quite as comfy as a Jones bar (Less sweep) but 340grams less weight and $60 less expensive.

I have used these on my city commuters and light duty XC touring bikes. Prefer 760-780mm flat bars for the gnar but love these on fire roads and smooth singletrack.

I use these and like them a lot, with one exception: the 31.8mm center section is SO short, you can barely fit any accessory clamp. I have a single GPS mount, and I had to mount the bars 2mm off-center in the stem just to get enough bar to hold the mount. If my memory is correct, I had only 6-7mm of on each side of the stem before the bar begins tapering.

So categorically impossible to mount something like a Salsa EXP Cradle. I can't even mount a GPS or computer on one side with a light on the other.

Good price though at $60. $51 if you time it w/ one of the eBay coupons. Its weird, though, that Bikewagon is selling these on Amazon and eBay, but not directly through their own website.

I use one of these to get around the limited mounting space
Typically for lights in the winter months

Thanks for this. I sold my last pair with a bike and have been looking for a deal ever since. 20░ is just right for me.

Already have https://www.amazon.com/Vinqliq-Light...t+mount+carbon or you can use a double clamp version with longer carbon tube for all your mounting needs up front. Just enough room beside the stem to mount these. That's the main complaint against the 20/20 is that there is hardly any room beside the stem.

Thanks for the deal link. I added it to my eBay cart, waiting for another eBay blanket 15% coupon deal and my ebates 2 percent.

They are now $49.95 on Bikewagon's Ebay site. And there's a 15% deal right now....
I just picked up another pair in case another new bike happens
