Yep, saw your post on Saturday and put them in my cart. When I went to order them on Sunday that was the message I got.
The power of the internet. Thanks for the heads up, though

You'll have trouble beating the price on these...

Sun DS-2 rims with Deore disc hubs. Yeah, there are a lot better hubs than deore, but I've been the hell out of them for 2 months and they're running smooth and quiet. And you can buy 6 sets of these for one set of Crossmax wheels. $89 for the set and still only weight 2kilos total.

Thanks Indiefab, I think I will snag those and put my road tires on there (semi slicks) and save myself the trouble of chaning tires all the time.

Just have to buy some rotors for them in additon tho.

Anybody know if there is any problem using 2 diffrent sets of rotors with disk brakes?

Bought these when they had them for $89 and love 'em. Unfortunately, tore up a rim after blowing a tire on a downhill. Ran the crap out of them for three months with zero issues. Never ever had to even touch a spoke. At $65, probably the best deal on the internet...

I do it without any problems. I bought an extra set of hayes mudcutter rotors to put on my racing wheelset along with an extra cassette. I haven't had any problems so far although the rotors are identical between wheelsets. Don't get aftermarket rotors, make sure you use the same brand so they have the same thickness, etc.

I like the WTB rim and the black spokes, but the weight is 10% more than the Sun wheels and the 475 hubs are below the quality of the typical Deore hubs, which are the 525s.
