    Crank Brothers Egg Beaters $35

Nashbar has a deal on these bad boys. Almost half off original price.

These are not the same design as the 'C' model. MXR can't be serviced and can't be regressed.

'C' model can be conveniently regressed with a grease gun. This is the best feature I have seen. 'C' has a cartridge bearing on the outer side, I am not sure about 'MXR' (likely not).
What do I know, ask the "experts"!

I've used the MXR, they still have the outer cartridge bearing, you just need to remove it to service, it. And they don't seem to hold up as well, I wore a set out in about 6 months, any other Crank Brothers pedals I've had, last pretty much indefinitely.

MXR sucks big time - I have been using them only couple months and they developed such a play - I will try to return them to bike shop... !!
