SHOP Toir 29 | Canfield Brothers Online Store

    $1000
    Size Med
    Black Ano
Choice of Black or Green colored suspension linkages
DVO Topaz stock, choice of upgrade to DVO Jade ($100) or PUSH 11-6 ($900)

One of the most playful 29ers on the market, and totally dialed in this size for shorter folks inclined to do low-moderate speed technical riding. If you prioritize short wheelbase, for jibbing and flicking, and must have 29er wheels, and want something with modern geo for out-of-the-saddle riding, this is it. There's nothing else like it.

ninjichor approved and highly recommended, esp for forest riders who punctuate bursts of speed between heavy braking. If you typically cruise at over 20mph, on open rocky hardpack (SW US), should be looking at a longer wheelbase bike maybe.

Probably sound like a shill, but I'm just surprised that one of the bikes I typically recommend to shorter riders is on sale at 50%, with arguably the most sensitive air shock currently on market.

They've been at that price for almost a year now I do believe, supposedly to fund a carbon version. There's more about it in the Canfield section here. (Someone there said the stock might not be accurate, but I guess an email to Canfield would clear that up)

Great bike, got to try one not long ago!

I bought mine last September for that price, Frame and DVO Topaz for $1000. I couldnt be happier. From 5000 ft climb days, to Downieville shuttles, shredding Lakes Basin, Tahoe, Sedona AZ. Love this frame. I fixed the geometry a little, by using 160 travel Fork. They are a tad heavy, my bike is 32 pounds with Pedals.

Do you happen to know what the weight of the frame with topaz is? Can't seem to find a frame only weight anywhere and want to buy one (just trying to get my Norco Revolver FS frame to sell first). Trying to get an idea of how heavy it will be after moving parts over.
