    I'm gonna miss that tire. Not convinced the "new" Trail Boss will take its place.

    These tires have popped up on clearance all over the place. I originally got some from REI for $20-30 a piece (light 2.3's), then scored tough 2.5's from Nashbar for a similar amount. Got three of the 2.5 high grips for less than the MSRP of some single tires.

    The tough versions are indeed heavy (like 1100-1200g), but these are fantastic- highly recommend the ones in the OP (they are equal to most brand's 2.4 or 2.5). Even better if you can find the high grip version still in stock somewhere.
