    WTB Ranger 29er in 2.6

Has any body seen these for sale yet? According the WTB is was supposed to be released last week. Kona has them listed as stock tires on the Unit.

    No, haven't seen them yet.

That said, the tread on those is so 'meh' that I wouldn't be waiting for them to come out.

I'd choose from one of the many, many 2.6's that are already available -- XR2, XR4, Rekon, Ikon, Vigilante, Trail Boss, Nobby Nic, etc...

That tread patterns work good in the area I ride in. The 3.0 tire was very comparable to the XR2. FWIW, I have a couple XR2 but it seems the "Light" casing has been discontinued and all I could find was the SE tire so the 2.6 WTB is a good option for a fast rolling tire

I have a bunch of 29 x 2.6" XR2's in stock. Not the SE casing.
