New question here. Width Difference Between Schwalbe 2.25" and Maxxis 2.3"

Hey - does anyone know the real world width difference between a 29" 2.25" Schwalbe Nobby Nic and a 2.3 Maxxis Aggressor? Many thanks.

The Schwalbe will be wider than 2.25 & the Maxxis will be narrower than 2.2 ;-)

That is what I thought, as the 2.35" tyres come up so big. However searching Google, it seems this might not be the case for the 2.25" model. From what I can tell, it might actually be narrower than the 2.3 Maxxis.

My 2.35" Schwalbes ended up over 2.4". My 2.25" NN is under 2.2".

Thanks. Oh well, I may have to fit a 2.35" I guess, which may have minor clearance issues.

    Does anyone have actual measurements?

I run a NN 2.35 at the back of my soon to be retired mtb with 19mm inner width rim. It's 2.31". So with a modern set of wheels it certainly should be 2.35 or more
