He got really expensive since last I looked. $2.40 for a laser! They used to be a dollar a few years back. 80 cents for silver.

I never got that snazzy with my wheels but Sapin race is still about .85 per shipped.

The wording on ebay kinda sucks but here is what I'm seeing.

22.40 per 32 spokes plus 5 bucks shipping is 27.40/32 or about 85c per spoke, plus you get a sticker and a pin. Anyone remember pins?

I always buy double butted Sapim spokes from a guy on Ebay called childhood_dreams.
54 bucks for 64 spokes. Any length in 1mm increments. Ive never had a problem with him ever.

Double butted sapim is what I've used last two builds. Bought from Dan's comp. Black spoked silver nipples.

So are you guys saying that his 2.0/1.8 spokes are Sapim race? Why don't his listings say a brand? I saw that before and assumed he was selling Chinese spokes.

I get spokes from thor if that's all I'm buying. Blacks are $1 and silvers are .70. If I'm getting other stuff and I can hit the discount minimum I get them from Universal

Know what? I hadn't even noticed. The listing used to say Sapim. Now it only says double butted.
I've been building wheels with his spokes for quite some time. Haven't had a failure. Now I have to look and see who has Sapim or DT for a good price.

Lol. Thor and childhood_dreams are in the same town. Pretty safe bet it's the same company. So I guess he can't say the brand on eBay due to the price being below Sapim's MAP.
