    Schwalbe 2.35 on Bontrager rim

I've been running tubes with my Schwalbe tires on Bontrager rims. But trying to go tubeless is not working out. Cant get the tire to air up at all. My question is will any tire work with any wheel ? Seem there isn't much of a bead on the Schwalbe compared to my old Bontrager tires.
Tires are 2.35 wheel width is 11/16.

Are the tires tubeless ready? They'll have TL or TLE on the sidewall. You can take a pic of them and post it if you're not sure.

What model wheels? Do you have the bontrager tubeless rim strips installed?

Tires do have the TLR . But I've been told the wheels I have are not for tubeless setup. So that's not going to happen
Tubes it is. Time to start thinking about a full suspension bike upgrade .

Ah. Is this bike 26"? Wheels are getting hard to find, but still can be built. That said, I would upgrade to fs and make sure the new bike has tubeless ready wheels.

    29. It's a 2014 . Only other thing besides new wheels would be wider bars. Or just save up for FS.

Ed - if your problem is getting the tires to air up, I'm running a NN 2.6 on RF Aeffect R wheels and it was very difficult to initially air up, even using a compressor and soaping the beads, so I had to inflate it with a tube, then unseat one side, remove the tube, then was just able to get it to reinflate tubeless, but once it inflated it seated nicely.
If that's your issue, try seating the tires first with tubes.

"Cant get the tire to air up at all."

Yeah, sounds as though this is your problem/solution.

I tried the whole bread thing. But if I let the air out of the tube the bead can be pushed off by fingers and the other side falls off on it's own. The best never makes that popping noise to seat the bead even with a tube.
