    Rimpact Pro Inserts

Rimpact is selling their new Pro version inserts starting today, they are a dual layer design. The added layer is a non-Newtonian foam that firms up on impact to absorb and distribute force to a larger area. I can't think of any reason this isn't a good idea, I have some G-Form pads that are similar and I remember wondering why it hadn't been tried on inserts before. There is a weight penalty of about 60 - 70 grams, but otherwise they are very similar to the original Rimpacts, which I have been running for about a year or so. And of course they are more expensive, but still reasonable as Rimpact has had excellent pricing since their introduction.

I am very interested in these as well. They are also offering a package of the pro and original so you can save a bit of weight in the front. Although I haven't used rimpacts, they look like the best coronation of weight, performance and price on the market.
