    Is this rim salvageable?

I purchased a damaged rear wheel because i want the hub. Its it worth trying to put this rim back into shape? I have a spare hub with the same hole number. It's been pinched during transport

It is a dt swiss xr 361 so relative light weight rim, 22.5mm internal width and an asymmetric rim. The damaged part is about 200 long and pinched about 10mm in the width.

Worthless as a rim. Take it to the recycling center with your aluminum cans.

Riding bicycle parts that have been run over by cars is not a good idea.

Cut out the bent 6" of the rim and turn into a 650b.
    Do the math.

Thanks all, looks like it'll head to the recycling bin. I plan on getting some carbon rims for it to build up.

Since everybody has said no I'd suggest wall art. Or a clock.
