Race Face rims AR30 Vs arc30

Iam looking at Norco and Devinci specs and some models (mid price) are list with the Race Face rims AR30, and the ARC30 come on higher end bikes.
I Can not find anything on the interweb about the AR30, they are for sure OE, so anyone have experience or infos about how they go or compare with the ARC rim.

They are pinned instead of welded. Slightly heavier, same strength.

You want the ARC. It's a good hoop. I have 3 sets of custom builds and they are holding up fantastic. Lots of AR take-offs for sale.

What Cary said. The bigger difference would be that the AR30's that come OEM are usually built on inexpensive hubs.

Now with the offset series, both ARC and AR are sleeve joined. RF does a good job with their joints too, unlike some others which end up with a large hop.

ARC Offset using new harder alloy, and AR Offset uses the same alloy as the old ARC which isn't at all bad unless you are hard on rims.

The AR Offset rims are a really great value - if they came on my bike I wouldn't feel the need to turff them.

I just had a wheelset built, RaceFace ARC 30's with some DTSwiss 350 hubs. AMAZING, tough as supermans elbow and not extremely heavy. I am a heavy guy (220) although I am not a downhill racer I do try my best and put my wheel strength to the test. Cant say enough about these hoops.
