A question about Stans Arch vs Arch EX

So I'm looking at some Stans Arch rims for a SS build. I have seen a few interesting listings on the 'bay. One of which shows rims with the Arch EX sticker, but the int rim width is 19mm. I thought the EX version was 21mm int rim width and the original Arch was 19? Anyone care to shed any light on this?

Also, the cheaper rims are white so I would consider stripping the powdercoat and polishing the aluminum to match the polished hub. Anyone do anything of the sort and how/what did you do?

    Thanks in advance.
I don't know why,... it's just MUSS easier to pedal than the other ones.

The Arch EX is 21mm internal width. It may be a misprint or a mislabeled rim. You can tell by the corners of the rim which is which. Arch corners are sharp and Arch EX corners are rounded.

I have not advice for stripping the rim.

I'll take a look at the pics listed for the rim shape, which I also noticed in looking at the Stans spec page. Thanks for the response.

In looking at the pics, which are not the best, it looks like the Arch EX stickered rim may in fact be the original Arch. It appears to have the taller sidewall with a more pronounced fold rather than the shorter sidewall and rounded edge of the EX. Obviously, the specs shown in the pic correspond to the original Arch.
