Hi all, I have a Profile Elite 142 rear hub that has broken the axle at the freehub to hub body join. It bike is a Ritchey Timberwolf, with a custom built wheel. Upon taking the wheel out for a tire change, to my horror the freehub & cluster just fell to the floor.

Now sourcing a replacement axle from NZ meant ringing Australia to get one ordered. It duly turned up and hmmmmmmmmm different. Has Profile changed the brg size of the first brg in their freehub so that the axle now is has more alloy to resist snapping in this very spot? Any info would be appreciated, the hub is great, very noisy which is prefect for our local trails where we often find walkers on them.
