New WTB Frequency i19 tcs 29

This new rims from WTB look good , I was thinking to use it to build a nice and light pair of wheels. What do you think about those new rims and the weight?
    thanks

light, reported as being very strong, ust. for a xc rim they seem hard to beat.

These rims came on my new Tallboy I picked up this weekend. Unfortunately around here winter riding is extremely limited, so I wont have a lot of real world experience for a few more months....but so far at least they sound promising being tubeless ready and lighter than the Mavic TN19s originally spec'd for this bike.
Grit, spit, and a whole lot of duct tape!

I have a set I built up myself. They are great rims. Comparing them to Stans rims they are stiffer than the Crests, lighter than Arches and very well made. I would use them again in a heart beat. I will probably go with the I23 as my next wheelset.

    Seem to suit the frame

I got 30ish miles on them this weekend on Pisgah singletrack and some fire roads. I don't have too much to compare to in the 29r world, but I'd say the entire wheelset is paired well to the frame. The build itself is stiff, and the rim is just a little slower than my 26'' sets. Did some small jumps and took care of lots of rocks with ease.

Not rim related: until it gets dry, you'll want to ditch that Crossmark up front. I swapped for an Ardent, but will probable tubeless the whole thing soon.
