    High pressure pump for tires?

I realize this is probably a stupid question for some of you, however I do not know the answer. (of course) Can I use a high pressure pump (like the ones for my rear shock) to air up my tubes in my tires?

Thanks in advance for your answers.

Yes, but they are very low volume and it would take along time.

I've had to use mine a few times where my regular pump won't seal well enough to get upto pressure, thankfully just to get the last bit in but even that takes AGES.

Switched to a Lenz pump with screw on valves haven't had to since switching to that thankfully, much better retro design than these self changing clip on jobs.
