    I got a deal on some Syncros hubs with the DT 370 system. I put the star ratchet pieces together about a month ago but the seal on the freehub body didn't line up very well. This was a mountain freehub so maybe the 11 speed road is longer and fits better.

    yabbut the satisfaction of doing it has got to be worth at least 200-250 bucks.......

    Definitely don't buy a 370 hub with the hope of doing this upgrade!

    But the 370 is generally only found in complete wheelsets, and is pretty common as a stock hub. So this could be cheaper than replacing an entire wheel to upgrade. Even then, the math probably only works out if your bike shop already has one or both of the tools

    Not to mention dt370s are a pretty decent hub. I'd happily run a 370 if i owned another one. I tend to kill hubs, and mine worked great.

    + $40 for spokes, $12 Nipples, $40-50 labor to lace a new hub into a wheel.

    Well, I did the conversion today. Exactly as shown with the exception of staying with an XD driver. The most demanding part was removing the drive ring, very much like removing a freewheel. A well secured vice is recommended. I didn't buy the tool to install the star ratchet drive ring, just hand snugged it. It will tighten itself. The engagement is noticeably 'tighter/closer'. What should I call this? A DT-360?

    The seal from the 3 pawl XD driver transferred directly to the star ratchet XD driver.
