DT Swiss 350 / 340 freehub body question.

I need to replace the freehub body on my DT 350 rear hub.
    Here is the dilemma:
Chain reaction only lists a 340 freehub body on their site, it looks the same as the 350 but i can't find any data on the 340 on the DT swiss website to determine if they're compatible.
Rumour has it that the 240 and 350 share may of the same internals but i'm not sure if this extend to the freehubs.
Can anyone shed some light on this topic?
    Thanks.

Contact the guys at DT Swiss directly via email. They are very responsive.
Since when did the phrase "invest in" come to mean the same as "buy"?

I've sent them an email. I'm still confused by the fact that they sell a lot more models of hubs than they display service info for yet don't have any info on parts compatibility between models.

Find the manual in their product document section, in it they provide exploded parts diagrams of all their products with part numbers. IIRC the 350 has it's own unique part numbers for everything. Of course that doesn't necessarily mean it won't work, but I don't know of any company that will provide info beyond that on mixing and matching parts from different models, at least on their website.

The 340 is not a current model, but they should have at least provided the old documentation in their archive section. These model changes did just happen in the last couple months though

From the service manuals I've determined that the star ratchets between the 240 and 350 are interchangeable. I'm awaiting a reply from DT swiss about the freehub.

    340 was star ratchet too
