    25-27mm carbon rim? Any favorites?

I want a 25-27mm carbon rim... 27mm is pushing what I want, so thats really the max. No 28, no 35... dont even recommend 40 or say anything about an XR4

Anyone have a favorite? Ill gladly take chinese carbon. Price is always a factor, but if something is substantially better ill pay more.

BTLOS has a 25mm for $140. LB seems to have skyrocketed in price closer to $300!?

I want stiff! Something around 450g is acceptable, doesnt need to be superlight. Lighter is cool too, but the focus is strength and stiffness.

I run higher tire pressure and I suppose I ride sort of light. I havent ruined my ARC24, but it does flex a lot. Just looking to ditch the flex.

BTLOS and EIE are newer companies but make good products if you want carbon.

My We Are One Insiders (27 mm id) have been good so far. In fact I just ordered Agents (30 mm id).

Insider rims are not cheap though ($438 USD converted from $575 CDN, less the 20% sale right now, equals $350 USD). Designed AND MADE in Kamloops British Columbia, and carry a lifetime warranty. The are nice looking rims. Raw unpainted carbon.

    420g for 29er.

I posted a couple of pics of my Insider wheels in post #209 on page 3, but the quality of the photos is not good (they were taken late at night):

My next set of carbon rims will be We are one.

If I was on a budget and didnt want to spend the $$$ for WAO then my next choice would be carbonfan.

If it's i25, I've beat the living crap out of my Nextie i25s and have repurposed them from enduro and DH racing to elite XC racing, they got plenty of park days and continue to be beat on. Good stuff.

Just got my i29 wheelset from BTLOS. They have been great to deal with and the wheels are beautiful. No riding experience yet, so I won’t say anything further,, but based on my experience so fat I definitely recommend them
