    142 x 12mm E Thru axle alternatives

I need a 142 x 12mm E thru axle for a 2016 Vitus Sentier. The best axle (price and quality)that I've found online is the DT Swiss RWS.

I'd prefer an axle with hex bolts rather than the RWS lever. Is there any reasonably priced alternatives to the RWS?

If possible, we strongly recommend using actual length measurements taken from your existing E-Thru axle when ordering a replacement. Don’t assume that because your frame is Boost 148 and uses E-Thru that it requires the E-Thru Boost 148 axle, as often it may not.

I've read other people on this site complain about the DT rws and how the loctite fails eventually and it's a poor design. I have minimal firsthand experience, though, and can't cite my source.

I have robert axle project axles on 2 of my bikes, and they work well.

I have been running the Hardlite 12 x 142 E thru axle on my Yeti for the last two seasons and it has been great. I would def get another.
