South Vancouver Island: return visit to Maple Mtn or Mt Tzouhalem?

I'm headed to Victoria for a few days and have managed to carve out 1 day to do some riding (probably Sunday the 25th or Monday the 26th of this month). A couple years ago I rented a bike from Oak Bay Bikes and rode Maple Mtn, which was excellent fun. Now the question is: Do I go back and see what's new on Maple Mtn or go see what's on offer at Mt Tzouhalem? I want to make a full day of it, but don't want to spend too many valuable biking hours driving.

    Any suggestions?

Mt Tzouhelem would be my choice if I could only do one. Double D is a fave, and Loam Line was a blast as well. Lots of options for multiple laps

Both fun, you could definitely squeeze in both in a day as the 'laps' at tzouhalem are relatively short. Hard for me to say that you should skip maple mtn because it's a blast. Another option would be to check out harbourview in Sooke.

If you have the energy you can ride Maple and the Zoo in one day. It's not like there is more than a few minutes driving between them. If you ride to the top of Maple it's the more strenuous of the two so I would do that first when I was fresh and then hit the Zoo.

If I had to pick one I enjoy riding at the Zoo better. That said Maple provides a more "epic" ride.
    Safe riding,
