Ride Report -- Top of The World / Khyber Pass (Whistler, BC)

Every year for our anniversary, my wife and I head to Squamish/Whister (from Eugene, OR) for a week(+) of world class XC mountain biking. We've never felt the need to hit the lift serve trails, at least until Top of The World joined the ranks. I was especially excited since it would also feed us into Khyber Pass, which had peaked my interest for some time. It ended up being a great day on the trails, and it certainly felt like an adventure.

    Checkout the ride report, here:

Thanks for the report. TOTW + Khyber is on my list for next year!

I read your report for Comfortably Numb before my ride a few days ago.

Nice writeup Nate. You asked about Khyber so I'll respond. It was dry last year but really not all that bad. On the downhills I'll clean that thing top to bottom as will most other people I know so it might be that you just have to get used to it. Also some of your pictures it looks like you went down the old way. The new line comes off TOTW - about 100m into the trail. I'd put myself into the category of better than average but by no means super duper human MTBR keyboard warrior if that helps for context

Thanks, Lee! You are absolutely correct, it appears that we entered on the old trail -- thanks for the heads-up on this. I updated my trip report to reflect this, which will hopefully ensure that others don't make the same mistake.
