    MTB+horseback riding?

Thinking about going to BC for a needed bikingholiday and need some tips.
My wife wants horseback riding and I want som good beginners DH.
Dont want to go to Whistler, I know its suppost to be like the mecca for MTB but Im looking for something smaller and not so touristy.
Flying from Sweden so Im looking for something not to far from Vancouver.
    Anyone got any good ideas?

Come on over to the island. Some great riding in the Comox Valley and if you go to Mt. Washington you can ride your bike and they do offer horse back riding as well. Also some great singletrack in the Cumberland area...If you come to the island check out pedalhounds. Enjoy your trip wherever you end up.

This post is from a long time ago, but check out these guys up in Gold River. Just did a 4 day pack horse assisted trip around Spruce Lake with them.
