    looking for trail conditions around invermere

    this might be a long shot, but i was hoping someone could tell me what the trails are like out in invermere, particularily canyon trail. thanks a bunch.

    This is a bit of a long shot.

    FWIW, I just got back from Vernon and it's fokking spring out there... Everything's green and 16 degrees outside.
    Invermere being closer to the Rockies, it might be worse.

    I'd call THESE GUYS.

    By Canyon Trail, you mean the Toby Creek trail? That little trail ROCKS!

    just a followup to this thread; the golfing and biking are great out there right now.

    we did the spirit trail from fairmont to canal flats (pg 219 in the backcountry book). not the most exciting, but it was good to be out there. there was a few kms of singletrack that definately made it worthwhile.

    edit: on the way home we hiked minnewanka to the canyon - some spots were mushy until the aylmer intersection at 1.5km, and a biker we saw coming back looked a bit muddy. it's probably ok, but in a week it should be nice.
