Just got back from Fernie last night. Although I didn't hit it this time, Fernie Alpine Resort is one, although NOWHERE near Whistler or Silverstar in terms of awesomeness. Kicking Horse has some good terrain as well. Panorama is another option.

#1 in Canada (and perhaps elsewhere as well) is Whistler. That has been my #1 ski and bike park destination for decades.

Those are what immediately come to mind. I would suggest pulling out the google machine to find other alternatives. Have fun.

Pardon what may be an ignorant response... but why not Whistler? Isn't that in BC? Looks pretty epic too!

    Interior:
Sunpeaks, Silver Star, Golden, Panorama. All have a different flavor. BTW there is not a bike park in Revelstoke.

Whistler is the king of bike parks, but it has the crowds to match.

Whistler is a significant driving distance from Calgary.

Not to mention that Whistler was identified right off the bat in paragraph 2 of Post #2.

You are right in that as far as I know only COP in Calgary offers lift assisted riding. Closest to Calgary are:

    * Fernie - when I was there the lift seemed to be running slowly, so you felt like you spent a lot of time on the lift
    * silverstar in Vernon - I have heard a lot of suggestions it is #2 after Whistler

The other resorts in BC that have been mentioned.

Whitefish, MT also has lift assisted riding.

the cross country riding in both Fernie and Whitefish is outstanding if that is of any interest.
