    Lake Minnewanka

Today myself and Lee P went up to Lake Minnewanka to check out the trails.

Still fairly icy but can be ridden!

We went about 3/4 of the way to the hut and then turned back due to lack of time. Towards the hut the snow seemed to get deeper due to the lack of traffic at that point.

I was also out hiking at Barrier Lake yesterday but didn't go far up the hill...... although 7 bikers did pass me on my way do I'm guessing the trails there are ok too.

    Some pics from today...........

Looks awesome, thanks for the report. Rode Benchlands on Saturday, it was in pretty good shape as well. Lots of dry dirt, some packed snow and a few muddy patches.

Yeah, it was a real mix today, the worst part was the first and only real climb which was solid ice on the way out. On the way back it had thawed a bit and was rideable. There was a suprising amount of dry ground though.

Looks like a fun day and awesome day.
We got to ride in the Wet Coast slop, though at least we were riding!
