    Jasper conditions

What are the trail conditions like in Jasper? I'm going to be there this weekend and I'm wondering if it's worth bringing my bike.

If the trails are dry enough to ride, are there any rides or shop rides a non-local could join?

    ALC by chance?

I've been obsessively checking the weather in Jasper and Hinton, looking at Instagram hashtags, scoping out webcam feeds, checking Trailforks and I can't find anything definitive. I'll be there as well and I'm bringing my bike just in case.

My spouse is going for the ALC, I'm just tagging along because I was able to get the time off work and it's a cheap trip!

Everything I could find online suggested trails would be closed but it looks like they aren't. I ended up not bringing a bike but I should have. Probably some trails and sections of trail are a bit wet so check with the local shop for good trails.

I don't know if this is waaaaay too late, but I took a chance and brought my bike with me to Jasper this weekend. I rode the Valley of the Five lakes yesterday and it was in excellent condition. There were two puddles and four or five trees down on the trail.
