    Heli-Biking

Has anyone used Ahlstrom Air at Nordegg to helibike the Coliseum? We are thinking of doing it this weekend and were wondering if it was worth it? Is it rideable on a hard tail or is full suspension a must?

    Thanks!

ask the guys at the fronter lodge in nordegg.

Odds are a hardtail is doable, just not fun.
    good ski/bike deals at www.mntlion.com

A heavy duty HT with big tires, slack angles, short stem, and flat pedals would be rad. A 6" travel bike that weighs 22 lbs will suck.

If you don't own a DH-ish bike, then I'd strongly suggest renting one. What the hell, you're already dropping a bundle on the heli.
