    around misty + mist ridge

    as you all know, this one generates a ton of pics, this is our first time doing the mist ridge option (ton of hiking, great adventure). the whole pic dump is here.

    You bet...that's my XCL that i built up last year. Its a pretty great bike for this kind of riding.

    I thought it was, I've got the same one in small. You don't see many around here. They are great huh? I've had mine for a couple of seasons now too, it's awesome.

    Yeah its an awesome ride. I haven't seen one other than mine on the trail yet. I'm pretty sure there's atleast one other in the Calgary area because I remember reading a review from someone around here.
    Socks are supposed to be pink.

    Spectacular! I hear it's an epic. How long? Is the ride fairly (guidebook) obvious or are map and compass skills required. Doable in mid September?

    Love that ride.
    Not alot of snow on Rickert's Pass I see.
    Usually you have to wait till Aug for this ride. From what I was told.

    Telebiker just follow the bible (The Guide book) and you will be fine.
    The big issue is you have to be doing more difficult trails then the Galina Trail.
