Good for you! I'm thinking about it because it is my neck of the woods...Dont really have an appropriate bike at the moment...Might have to buy a new bike! Whats you setup bike wise?

I'm close to this too. Just outside Calgary. I'm thinking Salsa Cutthroat. I have a couple of big bikepacking trips next year and I might just have a go at this one.

Probably a hardtail 29er... I have a single speed I could set up 1 x 10. Then get some narrower tires. I do have a cross bike but I think I would get punished riding it for a few days. Still not sure...

I've wanted to do a ride like this for a good long while...
Is there any timeframe you need to finish the ride in? I checked the website but did not see anything listed on their website.

It's a self-supported race, like the Tour Divide. There's no cutoff, you're just not going to be the winner.
I write for the Dusty Musette.
