WW 2011 Jet 9 Front Derailleur

Can anyone tell me which road front derailleur works well on a 2011 Aluminum Jet 9?
Also if any mods are required?

BTW, I'm running a 26/39 on a converted XT triple crankset.

Thanks, I have searched this subject without success.
.. If I see this bike on display with those GT bars, I am bringing my hacksaw!!

Not sure if WW, but I have a XX front derailleur that came off my 2011 Alu Jet9 if you are interested. Just make me an offer if you want it.

Good to know thanks. I'd still like to see if anyone has had success with a road mechanical in this application...I thought this topic was discussed but I couldn't find any history.

    I use a DuraAce FD-7900 on mine with my 2 x 9 drivetrain.

Sorry my bad, I'm using Blackspire rings 26/36 or 26/38 depending on the terrain.

Nice, the DA looks like a 92g savings over the SLX.

BB, any mods to make this work or plug and play?
I'm using the last 9 speed XT shifters meant for a triple.

I did a mod (wish I could find the link - ah HERE it is) to allow the swing arm to go out far enough. You just have to remove a bit of material so the cage can swing out further (at least I had to because I run my 2 x 9 with the inner ring bolted to the middle slot and the outer ring bolted to the outer slot on a triple crankset (Race Face Turbines with Rotor Q Rings). Basically, it's a few minute job to Dremel off some material, and then a touch up paint with some flat black model paint. Nino posted up some nice pictures of the mod in that link above, and I used that for a guide to do the Dremel work. I use SRAM X.0 triple triggers and am able to shift really well. Twist/grip shifters are even better (which I use on my Dos Niner with a Dura Ace), but the X.0 triggers work as well.

You may not need this mod since you are running smaller rings and can get them closer in on the drive side = depending on where your rings sit (how far to the right they are of the downtube). I had to move my rings out because of the dreaded chain stuck issues with the new JET frame and my larger outer ring.
