    Weight Weenies of other persuasions

    I had to post this because the pictures (which I found on another forum) reminded me so much of you guys:







    It's a porsche 911 engine. Yeah, I guess it is a bit heavy

    If that's the stuff you're into, check this:

    http://www.dutracing.nl/ Combine a pile of alloy and ti bolts, a few monocoque structures and a 1-cylinder engine and you have a 264 lb. racing car. Some of the stuff they use is pretty silly light.

    One of the guys on the DUTRacing team is a friend of mine at the uni, so I occasionally get to peek in the workshop.

    very impressive. that's only 70lb more than a kart with a 125cc two stroke engine and no suspension!
