    Shoes, cleats, etc...

A pair of the standard shimano spd cleats is about 60g. I see ti bolts for sale. Does any one make a ti cleat ? It is rotating weight after all.

I'm also curious if any of you cut down your shoes at all?

Just thinkin' out loud ( or what ever it is in interweb world).
Well my days of not taking you seriously are certainly coming to a middle.

Interesting topic actually - surprised it hasn't come up sooner.

The bolts seem easy enough to find, with some SPD-specific ones out there, as you mention.

I can't find Ti cleats anywhere, not for Crank Bros either, hmmm.

Exustar makes SPD Ti cleats for their Ti caged PM28Ti pedals. These pedals require brass or Ti cleats only. The brass wears really fast, so I ended up getting the Ti cleats which have lasted much longer. I don't think Exustar makes this pedal any more, so you may have to search around for Ti cleats. Their was a US Exustar distributor as of 1 1/2 years ago, not sure if their still around.
To cycles has the Ti bolts.
Edit: The Exustar part No. is C06-Ti.
