    Lefty carbon Steer tube adapter?

Small ring in front makes it easier. Small ring in back makes it harder. That blows my mind.

I've been Lefty on a couple of bikes for 12+ years now. I started with the Project321 aluminum one. Then I "made" one out of a SID carbon steerer/stanchion assy. I was using a carbon one for a while from Experimental Prototype, but ended up parting that bike out. Then picked up an MCFK carbon one which recently got a little crushed at the top due to my negligence in using proper torquing procedures on my stem. Now I'm back to my homemade SID based steerer.
