    I.D. these skewers for me... please!

    these pics were from a link in a post in this forum... does that make sense? lol
    anyway... i love the gold color, if theyre decent im buyin me a set.

    I remember those pics. Aren't those some super-limited, ultra-light skewers made by Tune (????) that would barely hold a piece of paper together? I remember them getting bashed a little for being sketchy in the wheel retention department.

    Not a good place to skimp, IMHO. Get some Control Tech's and have them re-anodized if you need the gold that badly.

    Tune Syline or Heylight...

    Either way, that looks stupid light and would NEVER ride those IMO.

    definitely Tune Skylines.
    recommended for ROAD use only and only for riders up to 70 kilos / 155lbs.
    DON'T use them on a MTB! those who do don't ride...it's as simple as that.

    you could get golden HEYLIGHT TT bolt-ons.
    available with titanium axles (36g) and optional with Aluminium axles (26g) but these are once again for road use only. Heylight says the Al-axles have 40% less tension force.

    the heylights look really nice too, but for the sake of my skeletal structure and my insurance copay rates id rather stick with something designed for mtn biking.

    the 36g Ti bolt-ons are ok for MTB.
