Is Garbaruk the best thing going...

...as far as lightweight cassettes? I'm running an XT 11-42 which weighs like 6 pounds. My last few races I have wished/prayed for more teeth on the last third of the race. So, I'm looking at 11-48.
Small ring in front makes it easier. Small ring in back makes it harder. That blows my mind.

I have been running the Garbaruk 11-48 since they came out. It has been flawless. I really like the 11-48 spacing and yes they are as light as they say.

Thanks for the input. Are your running the stock cage on the derailleur or did you go with one of theirs?

I run an XTR derailleur and I did put the cage extender on. Shifts perfect.
