    Crank bro.s ti cyan 108mm bb

    it says it is on the CB web site but is it 73mm bb shell compatible has anyone used it ?

    The only difference is the use of the 2.5mm spacer on the drive side, so like most ISIS BB's it is usable in either a 68mm or 73mm shell width. Because the non-drive side doesn't have a flange there's no issue with where it sits in relation to the BB shell.

    I have a Cobalt on a 73mm shell and the only difference between the two is the spindle length.

    i know this but typically 108 mm is bb are not 73mm compatible b/c most 73mm frame are mountain bikes and dont have the clearance to run a 44/29 double so i want to know if anyone has tried this bb on a 73mm frame

    Later Race Face ISIS cranks were made for 108mm spindles. What cranks are you running now?

    The crankset specs indicate that it's intended to be used with a108mm spindle ISIS BB for VTT (MTB) use, so they must have enough offset to clear MTB chainstays.
